Research

This was a video suggested in one of my crits to have a look, it covers some aspects of my project but the whole style of the video is completely different to what i was going for. But still interesting to look at due to video giving the impression of traveling through images.

A Record of Life

This was a heavy inspiration for my project the video gives the impression of panning through objects and then cutting to the next scene and side panning through the scene. I like the simplicity and the colour scheme of the video as well but the main inspiration i have taken from this is the camera movements and the scene transitions. The song is also really nice and slow paced which sets the scene and allows the camera to pan slowly throughout.

Desperate Housewives Trailer

This video was an inspiration due to the nature of its imagery, it looks like they used a lot of photoshop images cut up then layering them across backgrounds and building up scenes from various photographs across an area of Z space, very little editing seems to of been done but a lot of lights and shadowing has been added into the scenes to give depth, this is something im going to try and attempt.

Looks like some really nice and simple photoshop image editing and cutting up also seems to have a fair bit of grundge layers added to it.
